well. chinese A levels are over. the year draws to a close and the final obstacle would be OP. chinese was quite interesting. challenging. but hopefully i can get my A. lolx. OP coming up. i need to rehearse that song signing thing that i totally suck at. haish. looking for a job during the holidays. im in red. so i better get one instead of just talk about it. sianz.

as the year draws to a close, it's time for abit of self reflection. of all the things that have happened this year. somethings went well, others didn't. many aspirations unfufilled still. doing well in exams are just one of them. it appears that i cannot seem to do well and i have no idea why. the year started off on a bad note for me. coming into a college that wasn't really my first choice. but as time passed, i grew to like the place and it's people. orientation one was ok. got to know the first few people i know i AC. some grew closer, some didn't.got posted into SB3. or SB12 as others may call it. nice memories. funny ones. silly people doing silly things.

O level results came out and i stayed in AC. oreintation 2 was kinda a flop. got posted into SB4 with quite a number of ex-SB3 people. 26 people to start with. most strangers. we didn't talk much. as time went on and we started talking, one left. and soon another. so 24 of us continued on this journey. there were memories. good and bad. think im responsible for more bad ones then good ones. lolx.

June came, our first holidays. all of us were mugging for our first major exam. some did well, others didn't. so unknowingly we stumbled past 1/4 of our JC life and we just carried on, dragging our feet wearily with a timetable that ends at 430 everyday. events came and went. learning journey to BMTC, class outings, class brunch/dinners. many many activities. the 24 grew closer.

the next major hurdle came. PROMOS. everyone was scared. some feared being retained. some feared being unable to keep their scholarships. all of us were worried. we struggled, mugged hard. even staying in school till 8 or even later just to mug. everyone grew tired and it just hit us so suddenly. all of a sudden, promos was over and 1/2 of our JC life was gone. the great news is that we all made it.

AC games. enjoyed throughly. even if we didn't win anything. it is in adversity where we see the other side of people and everyone did a great job. with the introduction of the new post-promos timetable, we had more fun. ending at 210 was a great change from the 430. missing from chinese and lectures were common as we all took this time too let our hair down. long breaks were accompanied by frisbee and each other and we had much fun.

in a bink of an eye, my J1 life is gone. regrets i have, but i wouldn't trade them for anything else. i know i have made some silly mistakes, offended some people. but you're going to be stuck with me for the next year anyway. hahax. so i hereby apologise to all who i have offended. you guys have been great. to SB4, great memories and looking forward to more. fun0rama, class-T, class cip and more and more outings! next year is going to be a bang and it'll probably hit us like a train. so best if we stick together and survive it all together! good luck guys. =================================================================== yini: er. cause we're learning that song. lolx.

walking in the wilderness, finding my way through.
distance to far to measure, i don't know what i'll do.
i'm getting lost and tired, but do you really care?
i miss the times i had comfort, i miss the times you were there.
i've put it down, i've learnt to move on, trying to stand on my feet.
but i can't seem to learn how to, it's lonely listening to my own heart beat.
now as i trudge on wearily, i can only hope.
hoping for a new light, to show me where to go.
being independent is just so hard, when you're ready to fall.
all that's there to meet you is the cold hard floor.
i wish i could just sleep it all away, sometimes i wished i didn't have to wake up.
but hope and belief is what's carrying me through.
the hope for a better tomorrow, and the belief that tomorrow will be a better day.
yes at times, life can be tough, but i will survive.

first week into post-promos timetable. utter sianz-ness. PW and chinese basically flooded it. chinese was just plain zzzz. PW was urgh! OP, I&R. haish. and to think promos was the end of it. haish. the week was ok i guess. i learnt how to complete the rubik's cube, played frisbee, played guitar. whee! hahax.
rubik's cube was a combination of common sense, the internet and elizabeth. lolx. and today i finally solved it. lolx.
guitar practice started this wednesday. super rusty. my sightreading is so down the drain. no fingernails to pluck either. lolx. learnt abit of more than words and first love :) fingers hurt. hahax.
today was supposed to be "frisbee open house" but it turned out to be a hoax. it got cancelled. hahax. so we ended up playing by ourselves. the class is improving. great job guys. keep it up. and quite a number are thinking of joining. i didn't know so many were interested. lolx. cool. then we can all join together. lolx.

what is honesty? lolx. i checked up the meaning at dictionary.com. here was the definition.
honesty:
1. the quality or fact of being honest; uprightness and fairness.
2. truthfulness, sincerity, or frankness.
3. freedom from deceit or fraud.

the definition of being honest is easy to find. but the courage and price to be honest i don't know. hahax. being blunt and straight isn't exactly the best way to survive in this world. people hate you blah blah blah. it takes an amount of charisma to manage to pull stunts like this off. i unfortunately am not one of them. hahax. i know im not well-liked in class. oh well. i can live with it. lolx.

certain things in life are too small to matter. so what? so what if im not well liked, not popular. so what if people hate me. people are entitled to the own views and opinions and i respect that. i don't really mind if people don't like me. im not a religious person, but i have faith and i have trust that things will work out for me one way or another. human politics, relationships, studies, CCA's. things are sometimes too complicated to really comprehend. i recently talked to a friend of mine. ok, two. two separate issues. but both had the same thing in common. bothered by things too difficult to truly understand. frustrated by things that happen. but i believe. i believe that things will work out. we just have to let it be.

It will help you decide which fights are worth the blood and tear, and when you would be better laying off." certain things are worth laying off. im not to bothered. things which are important. friends who are important. true friends. those that stay by your side and listen to you talk nonsense. some of them need me now. it's my turn to listen to them talk nonsense. they are my friends. they're what's important to me. hoping to get a job during the holidays. or maybe go some home or something to help out. these are things that would matter.

from young my mum taught me. if you have no fault, would people have reason to scold you? (如果你没有错，人家会有理由讲你吗？) it is a very self-reflective statement don't you think? that makes you sit down and think. yes i've received criticism lately and it appears that some are unhappy with me. well, i apologise to those who i have offended in my life, be it in my blog, life, speech or whatever. it's just me. that's what i am. the way i say things and do things make people pissed. my parents often told me, 你这样讲话出去迟早被人打. (i'll end up being beaten up cause of the way i speak). oh well. i guess it's one of my many many flaws, prices to pay for being imperfect. so to those i have offended, i hereby sincerely apologise for my speech and actions.

self reflection as it turns out, is quite an interesting to do. it makes you think, think alot. what have i done wrong? why did this happen? why did that happen? im not talking about reflections like those in I&R or any other project similar things. im talking about just sitting down. or lying down. and thinking. quietly. it's enlightening and interesting to discover many new things. both about yourself and the world around you. then maybe. just maybe. you may discover and realise the true meaning of life and what it's all about. scientist took a long time to realise that the world is round. they took some time to realise that the world revolves around the sun too. two things. we take for granted and as common knowledge. took time for genius's too discover. took technology so long to prove. maybe. just maybe. self reflection can take me somewhere too.

guitar practice is coming up soon. haish. haven't played those pieces in a long time. getting rusty. dammit. should start playing soon. during promo's have only been doing random strumming. just to relax. time to get serious and hardworking and play those pieces. jiayoux.

AC games is over. whee. hahax. tiring. some have it worse. hahax.playing in 3 semis at least. lolx. first day was soccer, benchball, bridge and floorball.

soccer. win 1, draw 1 loss 1 i think. but somehow we made it to top 16. or 8. whatever. we lost. hahax. some we strong, some were physical, some talked rubbish. lolx. hari missed a nice shot. was so close. hahax. oh well. we got to go home earlier. lolx.

benchball. total chaos. i think we ended up last. hahax.

bridge. totally failed. no 默契. couldn't guess what our partners had. hahax.

floorball. win 1, lose 2. game 1 we won through a freak goal. game 2 lost 2-1. we almost made a comeback when 2-0 down. game 3 loss in "golden goal". hahax. had one goal disallowed. or at least we thought it was a goal. lolx. and was my fault that they scored the winning goal. and i missed many chances. sorry guys. lolx. could see bing was pissed cause totally cannot play tactics. lousy ball, small court, crazy people. repeatedly got whacked on the legs. hahax.

that about summarises day one. hahax. phuong was coming up with crazy cheers. hahax. kinda forgot how it went. day 2 was much quieter.

day 2 many didn't turn up. 6 girls went for cip. daniel pon. cf just came for assembly like on thursday. we were severely short of people. many of us picked up knocks. lolx. captain's ball, frisbee and basketball.

basketball. totally gave up. played less than 5 mins and didn't play. lolx. didn't turn up for the rest of the matches.

captain's ball. win 1, lose 1, sd lose 1. i kinda forgot the scores. lolx. mesmerized by sb5's play. the 3 ballers keep playing larhz. lolx. damn nice. lolx.

frisbee. win1, sd win1, sd lose1. match 1 2-0. good play by joshua. match 2 sd won. match 3 sd lost. didn't make it.

we had serious problems. rained halfway. all our sd matches we struggled to fill the places. especially frisbee. needed 10. many left cause of the rain. thanks alot to those who stayed and made playing possible. many unsung heroes. hahax. people who made the team possible.

bing, daryl, stanley, swaiming, hari, anuj (game1), xuewen, yipin, jeanny (game1), shiyi, liz, and not to forget our stand-in captain joshua. thanks for staying and playing. though some are not good players and like fear the frisbee, but you guys stayed and supported and helped the team. it wouldn't have been possible without any of you guys. lolx. you guys made the team. each and every individual. pro or not pro. thanks! good job guys. even though our captain wasn't around and we didn't make it to the top 8, but we played well. well done. should give ourselves a round of applause. think we bonded more cause of that. many of you guys picked up a few knocks. rest well. hahax.

well, that pretty much sums up AC games for my class. job well done. since we were never the sporty type. hahax. two thumbs up! lolx.

however, there seems to be quite a lot of complains against the council. the way the games were managed, the match officials, the timings of the games. back-to-back games can be tiring. and it appears that some classes were disqualified cause they did not report when they were at another match. oh well. that's a whole different story all together and i shall not bother about that. hahax.

still got many more things to say, but kinda long. so maybe tomorrow's post. byes!!

woke up late today. at 714. pro right? for the first time since primary school, i was late for school. lolx. in the end i reached school at like 830. baccalaureate service. wow. what a day to be late. walked in during the vp's address. wow. what a great entrance. lolx. like so many people looking at me. oh well. at least i got to be famous for a few seconds. lolx. well. baccalaureate service turned out to be graduation ceremony for the j2's. lolx. great mystery solved. hahax.

the day was kinda boring. lolx. pw briefing, student survey, fun-0-rama briefing, house meeting. pw briefing was useful, student survey was a waste of time, fun-o-rama briefing gave me worries. how am i going to sell all the tickets? lolx. house meeting was useless as usual. i mean, we know at most like 10 people in our house. lolx. what good is it voting for a captain and vice-captain? lolx. oh well. i shall not question the education system. it must be good for us. hahax.

after school, we were told via relay to bring shirt to play games. turns out they were going to frisbee. disappointing cause many didn't turn up. lolx. why everytime liddat? hahax. sianz. well, they played for less than an hour and called for break. hahax. went to look at bridge. came back to half the half.(confusing?) turns out the rest went gyming. lolx. so we just threw the frisbee around. went to say hi at the gym and walked back. got scolded for walking on the track. lolx. oh well. unucky things just happen. hahax. just so happens the teacher saw us. too bad for us. hahax. continued frisbee for awhile till like 3 before going home.

AC games tomorrow. but we have a long sit in the hall before that. lolx. sianz. AC games shirt looks ok. shall wake up on time tomorrow. lolx. post promos life is un-nerving. not used to being so free. hahax. oh well. the work load will come soon im sure. hahax. just take the time off to relax. hahax.

crashed frisbee training yesterday. lolx. got to know some people. think they have less than 10 guys. lolx. sad. training was ok i guess. warm up 5 rounds. wow. i haven't done 2.4 since like 2.4. lolx. i survived. it passed quickly even though i was running slowly. guess it's been too long since i last ran lolx. after that did drills. lolx. throw frisbee, run about. lolx. throwing and catching, throwing and catching. i got blue-black on my hand now. lolx. oh well. i still don't know if i want to join. quite troublesome, need get boots. lolx. quite expensive. lolx. and i most probably won't use them again. lolx. we shall see, we shall see. lolx. after that went home quite late. like 7. first time since promos started. lolx. bet i stank the entire mrt. lolx.

hmm. today was supposed to go out. but somehow the spice girls disappeared and the rest of us were like left alone, and clueless, since they were the ones who suggested it. but. whatever. i couldn't care less. so we were left with, me, stanley, daniel, bing, alvin, swaiming, xuewen and yipin. lolx. dan, alvin, bing and swaiming wanted go lan. the rest of us weren't interested so we went down to citilink walk walk. walked to marina. ate at yoshi. walked abit more and went to esplanade for fun. lolx. saw flip flops at num. but too expensive. lolx. too bad. walked around esplanade, checked out the library and went home. lolx. was too late for me to go to cck to catch RE3 with xuan. lolx. nvm, i'll find somebody else to go with. lolx.

AC games on thurs and fri. whee. ironically, the bunch that were so enthusiastic about putting names down arn't turning up on fri. oh well. couldn't care less. my job is to turn up and play for the class, so i should see that i do and hopefully we can make it pass the 1st round for one of the games. hahax. good luck to us. whee. go sb4. hahax.

yesterday was the class outing to sentosa. whee. 9am. zzz.. not sure how many turned up at that time. lolx. like so early. hahax. we need our beauty sleep. hahax. so in the end, some woke up at 9. hahax. oh well. that's expected. i reached at lik 930. hahax. woke up at 8. lolx. so we like took the monorail. whee! what fun. hahax. i miss the old one. lolx. but the new one has air-con. oh well, i guess you can't get the best of both worlds. hahax.

well, we played frisbee. cards. ball games. oh ya. and there was alot of talking. lolx. i got red. hahax. burnt. cool. now it hurts. hahax. at least i'll have an even colour. hahax. hopefully. hahax. decided to go koufu at abt 3 for lunch before going back to vivo. lolx. had b&j. the girls cam-whored. we stoned. after that we walked around. saw many nice stuff but couldn't buy. oh well. too bad for me. im not daniel. lolx. all of a sudden the girls went crazy. turns out hari was coming when we were all about to leave. hahax. we didn't have a definite plan anyway. so.. hahax. went home, super tired. and painful. hahax. like a lobster. lolx. red and burning. lolx. worn out. hahax. well, at least this outing gave me what i needed. time off, some exercise, frisbee! and a tan. ok. maybe not a tan. hahax. certain things could have been better, but who am i to complain? lolx. mon and tues spa. heard there's no school on wed. thurs and fri AC games. whee. can't wait. hahax. not really. lolx.

promos has ended. finally. i breath a huge sigh of relief. but it's only temporary. i seem to have flopped all my H2's. dammit. sianz. how? what if i retain? haish. whatever. it's over. all over. so might as well live while i can. hahax. play! lolx.

well. here's a quick breakdown of how it went.
friday 28th: GP & chi. phuong's birthday. GP was ok i guess. so was chinese. this two should be able to pass.
monday 1st oct: econs & children's day. again an ok one. passable i hope. with tested alot on macro. lolx.
tuesday: Physics. paper 1 was ok. not very sure about paper 2. tested alot on the topics we rushed through. damn. hoping able to pass.
wednesday: math. surprised that i can do some questions. well, the rest is history.
thursday: chem. hoping for a pass. didn't finish mcq. sianz. but section b and c were ok i guess. why does mcq have to carry 30/80 marks? sianz.

well. that's about all. lolx. SPA coming up next. lolx. good luck to me. after that post-promo timetable and AC games. hahax. heard post-promo timetable no tutorials except for PW and chinese. lolx. fun. hahax. and AC games. hahax. can our class survive? hahax. hopefully. hahax. our class has never been known to be sporty. hahax. oh well. lolx.
